Pauls Valley Historical Society

Special Program to be hosted on February 18th at 1:30 p.m. at the Depot Museum.

The program is “Wenonah’s Story, A Memoir of a Chickasaw Family” as told through her son, Dr. Robin Gunning and her own voice. James Wenonah Paul guides us through the tragedies, trial, and triumphs of the Paul family through recordings, letters, stories, and notes. Her only child, Dr. Robin Gunning, promised his mother he would write her story. He did, and it is wonderful! I could not put it down. You will learn things you never knew about the Paul family.
